When you're busy with big details like catering, seating charts, and your dress, the small details can fall through the cracks. Here's a list of 4 things to remember for your big day!

When guests arrive at the hotel for your wedding weekend, a wedding welcome bag is the perfect opportunity to make a first impression! Being thoughtful with your welcome bags is a great way to show appreciation for guests that have traveled far to celebrate with you. Here's some ideas of items you can add to your welcome bags:

  • water bottles

  • sweet treats from a local bakery

  • hand sanitizer

  • makeup remover wipes

  • information on the wedding weekend

Highview Weddings offers several different design options for wedding welcome bags. Pick between white, brown, or burlap bags - or even gable boxes!

Let's face it, being in a wedding is a huge commitment. It's expensive, time consuming, and can take a lot of work depending on what your responsibilities are. Between the bridal shower, bachelorette party, rehearsal dinner, and the big day - and all the details that go along with those events - bridesmaids can easily spend $1,000+ to be in a wedding. That being said, make sure you show appreciation for the commitment they've made! Cheap presents labeled with sayings like "bride tribe!" are readily available, but try to avoid branding all of your gifts with wedding lingo. Instead, try gifting items that can be used or worn after your wedding that don't scream, "I've been in a wedding"! Here's a few ideas:

  • Initial Tote Bags. Our large, burlap totes make the perfect day-of present. Not only do they hold all of your gifts and eliminate the need for gift wrapping, they feature the recipient's initials and can be used after your big day!

  • Coordinate Crewnecks. Ultra soft and offered in a crewneck sweatshirt or t-shirt, our coordinate crews are the perfect minimalist gift. These tops feature the recipient's initial on the chest with a heart, and the coordinates for a special location where you share memories with that person. Often times, brides will use coordinates of the college where they met their bridesmaid, a fun vacation spot, or their favorite restaurant!

  • Personalized MakeUp Bags. Because we can all use another bag to store makeup and skincare products!

The age-old debate on child free vs. child friendly weddings is one that we'll stay out of - but if you're #TeamKids, give them something to do during your reception! Our gable boxes can easily be turned into Busy Boxes for your younger guests. They can be personalized with the child's name and you can throw in crayons, coloring pages, candy, cards, and other fun little games to keep them entertained!

Don't let all of your delicious desserts go to waste! Often times, guests are too full from dinner, too distracted with dancing, or too... intoxicated to enjoy all of the sweet treats. "Late night snacks," are becoming popular at weddings, but instead of bringing in another vendor to offer donuts or cheeseburgers at the end of the night, grab some to-go gable boxes and set them out at the end of the night. Your guests can fill them with cookies, cupcakes, or any other fun food you're serving at the end of the night! In addition to being super cute, our dessert to-go boxes are a great cost saving measure!
